Heart and Sole comprises two races through the Riverstone master-planned community: A one-mile Kids' Fun Run for youth ages 12 and younger at 5:45 p.m. and a 5K Run and Walk at 6:15 p.m. The race begins in the Offices of Riverstone parking lot. Racers and supporters can enjoy post-race activities, including a rock climbing wall, moonwalk, photo booth and more. A DJ will add to the fun. Each racer will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Children's strollers are allowed on the course, but pets are not.

In conjunction with the annual race, Riverstone is collecting gently used and new running shoes, which will be donated to the Fort Bend Women's Center. Shoes will be collected at the race.
