Between Two Worlds is a dance theater installation/performance created by Harrison Guy about the lives, experiences, and memories of black gay men. It looks at the reality of how our lives are full of intersections and crossings. Crisscrossing generations, nationalities, expressions, identities, and beliefs, like a tightly woven braid. Between Two Worlds asks the question, “Can black gay men be many things, at once?”
Taking place during Gay Pride weekend, remembering the Stonewall Riots, the performance will allow viewers to experience Sheila Pepe’s installation put me down gently at DiverseWorks as a part of the performance.
