Harris County Precinct 4’s Shakespeare in the Shade brings the classic comedy Much Ado About Nothing to life with free performances held rain or shine. A free Shakespeare festival featuring crafts, entertainment, face painting, games, and food trucks will also be held at the park on Saturday, April 16.

One of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, Much Ado About Nothing follows Beatrice, Benedick, Claudio, and Hero as they overcome cases of mistaken identity to find love in sixteenth century Italy. Costumes are encouraged during the festival.
