Fifth Annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing

John Everett

H-E-B's Fifth Annual Feast of Sharing provides a warm holiday meal and lots of good cheer to those less fortunate. Participants also enjoy music, arts and crafts, and kids activities—even an appearance by Santa.

Volunteers Houston will prepare and serve more than 10,000 meals. All together, 2,500 lbs of glazed ham; 310 gallons of mashed potatoes; 180 gallons of vegetable medley; 120 gallons of brown gravy; 700 apple pies; 10,000 dinner rolls; and soft drinks will be served.

The Harbour Lights Choir, Red Door Productions Entertainment Company and Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) Humphreys School of Musical Theatre will provide entertainment. Opportunities for attendees to win H-E-B gift cards will also be available throughout the event.
