Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue (GCCSR) is celebrating its first anniversary as a rescue group with a birthday party and reunion. The event begins with a tasty barbecue dinner, followed by a silent auction that includes a seven-night stay in a one or two-bedroom resort at a Caribbean destination, dancing dogs, raffle prizes, pet photos and more. All funds raised will help the group continue to help Cocker Spaniels in need. The party is from 2:30 - 7:30 p.m.

With shelters overrun with animals in need, rescue groups like GCCSR are helping to alleviate some of the strain on shelters while ensuring dogs find appropriate homes so they can live a happy and healthy life.
