The official celebration of Michael's Cookie Jar opening a second location in the Pennzoil Tower is from noon to 4 p.m. Guests will sample hot-out-of-the oven cookies and meet other local companies whose products are featured at the store, such as Mill King Dairy and Araya Chocolate. Raffles for yummy prizes and swag bags for the first 50 guests add to the fun, which benefits the Star of Hope.
