Blame it on Valentine, Texas is Jaston Williams' new comedy. The Tuna series that performed for more than two decades— Greater Tuna, A Tuna Christmas, Red, White and Tuna and Tuna Does Vegas — earned Williams a reputation as a gifted story-teller.
Follow Williams starting at the age of four as he single-handedly destroys a dance concert in one of the smallest towns in Texas and becomes a local star in the process. Laugh at his hysterical efforts to try to convince his 87-year-old mother, who's legally blind, clinically deaf and using a walker, that it might be wise to let someone else do the driving.
Then there's the day he's almost eaten by his brother's pig, the night his father suffers a nervous collapse watching the Beatles on television and his travels on a mad comic adventure in Asia to adopt a boy who came from what the locals called the "Screaming Part Of China."
