The author of Frying to the Sky's Edge: The Ultimate Guide to Mastery, with Authentic Recipes & Stories explains the joys of stir-fry with a 2-1/2-hour cooking class. Participants will learn to cook a meal of Chinese Trinidadian Shrimp with Rum, Peppery Vegetarian Fried Rice, Yin Yang Beans and Velvet Chicken with Broccoli.
The class also includes a demonstration of the best way to season a wok, how to conduct a wok "facial" and wok maintenance.
The class is from 6:30-9 p.m. It is currently sold out, but there is a waiting list.
