Grit & Glamour is an evening celebration of the launch of the Got Boobs? platform, an active movement and tool to inspire all individuals affected by breast cancer including fighters and survivors, followed by caretakers, loved ones of those fighting a breast cancer battle, and those who are just curious. Speaker will include founder and survivor Maliha Mian, The Physician & Patient Advisory Board, and other GB Ambassadors. Proceeds from the launch will benefit nonprofit organization Breast Health Collaborative of Texas.
The GB breast cancer community will showcase their own personal glamour by walking in the “Strut Your Stuff,” a mini fashion show with female and male breast cancer fighters and survivors.
The event will be emceed by Blanca Beltran, chair member of the National Hispanic Professional Organization. Event chairs include Shawntell McWilliams, breast cancer survivor, and Fashion Chair Staci Henderson with Fashion Designer Isrel Fonseca.
