Girls Inc. of Greater Houston hosts the Reach for the Stars Family Gala. Their mission, to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, is all about reaching for the stars. Guests will be able to participate in interactive Girls Inc. program activities and other games; bid on handcrafted outdoor playhouses, trips, jewelry and other fine auction items; and enjoy great food, dancing, and photo ops with stars in and around the Diamond Club and home plate.
Proceeds from the Reach for the Stars Family Gala will directly benefit Girls Inc.’s evidence-based programming for girls ages 6-18. Since their founding in 1995, Girls Inc. of Greater Houston has served nearly 20,000 girls through our school programs and day camps. Striving to create a world where girls overcome stereotypes and barriers to success, Girls Inc. of Greater Houston’s programs focus on leadership, math and science, health and wellness, media literacy, and standing up to peer pressure and bullying.
