The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston will present a production of the famous work, The Gondoliers. The Gondoliers is about the son of the King of Barataria who was arranged to marry the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Plaza-Toro from infancy. However, the son was taken away from his father shortly afterwards in order to protect him from his father's erratic behavior. A gondolier raised him alongside his own son to live normal lives.
