Gardening lecture: "Transplanted Northern Gardener" by Ed Dreier

eventdetail

If you have moved to Houston from New York, Chicago or any other northern area, you may be a little baffled as to what to grow and when. If you wait until May or June to plant your tomatoes as most Houston gardeners can tell you, you will not be eating any tomatoes that summer.

Learn what to plant and when to plant it so you may enjoy your gardening experience in Houston. You will receive a schedule of what plants to plant throughout the year, as well as a list of those recommended for the Houston area.

Ed Dreier is a Wabash gardener as well as a Texas Master Gardener.
