Garage Arts Project presents Bridges Collaboration Festival

Garage Arts Project will present the second edition of Bridges Collaboration Festival. The event will feature four performances, each a commissioned, multidisciplinary collaboration between Texas-based artists. A social mixer will precede the show where the audience will get to meet with artists and other art-supporters in the community.

The lineup includes:

  • A dance and visual art collaboration by Brandy Michele Adams, Marissa Michelle , Judge “Mr. Wow” Brandon, Alan “Canvas” Nguyen, Emi Matsushita - Conversations
  • A cross-genre dance collaboration featuring Plano-based Indian classical dance company Tejas Dance and Houston-based modern dancer, Adam Castenada.
  • A strings and percussion collaboration featuring Houston-based flamenco guitarist Jeremy Garcia and Dallas-based Indian percussion artists - Praveen Thiagarajan, Kushal Venkatesh
  • An Indian Dhol and Japanese Taiko drum ensemble featuring Goisagi Daiko, Shivam Dhol, and Tasha Pathak
