Galveston Arts Center (GAC) presents three exhibitions with artist talks beginning at 6:30 PM. In the 1st floor gallery, Bradley Kerl presents new paintings and works on paper, including still lifes and imagery mined from his day-to-day experiences, for "Greenhouse". In the 2nd floor 1878 Gallery, Angel Oloshove presents "The Ocean Never Closes", a new series of ceramic totems that experiment with painterly glazes to express feelings of transcendental experiences through form and color. The 2nd floor Brown Foundation Gallery features Christopher Cascio’s exhibition, "XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX", which includes a new series of paintings that reference traditional quilt patterns and his past work incorporating concert wristbands.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 8.
