Collector and philanthropist Isabel Brown Wilson (1931–2012) was a visionary leader through The Brown Foundation and at the MFAH, where she helped acquire significant antiquities as well as works by artists including Jean-Simeon Chardin, Rembrandt, Georgia O’Keeffe, J. M. W. Turner and James Turrell.
