Gallery Sonja Roesch will present "Lines in Motion," a solo exhibition for Knopp Ferro.
The Austrian artist has made a name for himself on the international stage with installation sculptures. These elaborate sculptures float above the viewer as an expansive network of metal rods, all very slender and of varying lengths. The linear nature of the work is invariably delicate, continuously oscillating and causing the very nature shift based on its own internal rotations and the perception of the viewer. They are installed on the ceiling or wall, or stand in the room, and are complemented by models, drawings, and sketches.
Following the outdoor opening reception, the exhibition will be on display through October 31.
