Ice Spectacular is a 30-minute tree lighting show featuring performances from American Idol finalist Brooke White, Israeli ice dancing twin sensations Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky and professional ice skaters Samantha Vonsiatsky and Richard Swenning. The Sugar Plum Fairy from The Houston Ballet's production of the Nutcracker and Santa Claus are also set to make special appearances.
The Christmas tree is 55-feet tall, and will be lit up by 450,000 twinkling lights and 5,000 ornaments.
Show up early and check out the holiday entertainment preluding the lighting of the tree. Strolling Dickens carolers, performances from area schools, face painting and balloon animals are all free and open to the public.
