Artist, writer, and scientist Rahul Mitra explores urbanization at the cost of natural habitat. Based on his recent travels and work in Hyderabad, India, his current show reflects his take on the global environmental damage, interwoven with his personal narratives of class, economic and social disparities. The paintings in the show are also influenced by his literary work of fiction, the Sons of Nakara, and his Pushcart Prize-nominated short stories.
