G Spot Gallery will host a solo exhibition of new paintings by Austin artist Bill Hailey. The exhibition will feature selections from Mr. Hailey’s "Sumatra Paintings," an ongoing series of overripe jungle fantasies inspired by his experiences in Sumatra, Java, and Bali. Also on view will be "Anti-Fascist Still Lifes" depicting floral arrangements with symbolic accoutrements, from the Fleurs dul Mal (Flowers of Evil) series.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through April 1.
