G Gallery art opening reception: Macrocosm by J. Antonio Farfan

The basis for Farfan's work is iconographic language developed through research of medieval philosophy and early concepts of time. This approach seeks fundamentals and relationships unlike the modern subjective approach to art. The Farfan iconography is a language of art that has multiple meanings — although it is not arbitrary. It's a creative process that seeks to move away from pure aesthetics and into an approach in painting that is a scientific explanation of the universe and humanity.
