Friends of West University Place Park's Lovers' Ball will celebrate its 23rd year at the newly renovated Royal Sonesta Hotel. The festive evening will feature dinner, dancing to the band Password, live and silent auctions, a big board and more.
Since 1988, the Friends of West University Place Parks Fund has been committed to supporting the improvement and expansion of parks and green spaces in West University Place, which are enjoyed by thousands of West U and Houston residents of all ages each year. Close to $5 million dollars has been raised since the inception of Friends, with the largest fundraiser being the annual Park Lovers' Ball.
