Find more than 22,000 books in 10 of the most popular categories, including a Treasure Hunt section where you'll find many gems to add to your collection. All books in the main sale area are $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks. Categories include African American/Black Studies, Art and Music, Biography, Cookbooks, Fiction, Science Fiction, Religion/Philosophy, History, How To, Classic Literature, Sports/Entertainment/Health/Fitness and Texana.

This is the second community-based sale since the host changed the venue from the George R. Brown Convention Center to smaller, more affordable and more easily accessible locations. There will be three regular book sales and one children's book sale each year.

Start your shopping early at the Thursday evening members-only sneak peek. All items will be for sale Thursday evening for current members. New members can easily sign up online prior to the sale or at the door. Memberships start at $25.
