The Friends of Houston Public Library will host the Kids' Book Festival, featuring fun activities, literacy love, and plenty of $1-$3 books to shop for all weekend long. They will feature over 30,000 books and AVs from Board Books to Young Adult Fiction and more. This event aims to support library programs and resources for the community.

Activities include a storybook costume contest, Minecraft on the HPL Mobile Express, storytelling by Sun Bee Circle, face painter and balloon artist, a writing contest by iWRITE, and more.
