The nonprofit Friends of Down Syndrome presents its fourth annual Cinderella Ball. This year’s fundraising goal is $150,000, with all proceeds going toward Friends of Down Syndrome’s capital campaign to build a permanent home for the organization and its Down Syndrome Academy, a school for teens and adults with Down syndrome in the Houston area.
In addition to a formal dinner and cash bar, there will be dancing, a silent auction and raffle. Tim Heller, chief meteorologist for KTRK Channel 13 in Houston, will once again serve as master of ceremonies.
