Fresh Arts presents troublewithwords, a solo exhibition of new work by local artist Jamie Ellen Davis. troubalwithwords is a collection of simple, organic drawings, prints and work drawn directly on the gallery walls that collectively create an autobiographical narrative of the artist and how her severe learning disabilities have influenced her work. The result? An engaging, self-exploratory and self-revelatory exhibition that invites the viewer into a world where words, in their distortion, become objects to be both seen and read.
