FrenetiCore Dance opens the 2014-15 season with Quench, a dance theater experience that explores the dynamic depths and transcendent nature of water. With actual rain and water features onstage, Rebecca French and collaborators create a liquid feast of dramatic spectacle. FrenetiCore's cast of playful water sprites, summer beach goers, ultra-fabulous mermaids and ethereal aquatic gods inhabit a visual and sonic world of elemental elation.

The 14 dance artists explore water as a source of life and strength, playground for absurd hijinks, and wellspring of infinite beauty. FrenetiCore will flood the stage with athletic and fluid movement, complemented by site-specific dance film and costumes by Ashley Horn, live musical accompaniment by Spike the Percussionist and lighting design by Frank Vela.

The dances of Quench are filled with humor, pathos and mythology, and they are ultimately drenched in water.
