Moscow Ballet will present Houston premiere of their celebrated Great Russian Nutcracker. The ultimate holiday tradition from the youngest to the seniors in the family, Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker is the only internationally touring ballet group to perform to critical acclaim in over 75 North American cities annually.

Free the Captives, by partnering with Moscow Ballet and like-minded Houston churches and organizations, has a unique opportunity to raise funds that will directly, immediately and, for the rest of their lives, benefit Houston’s teenaged victims of human trafficking. The goals of this, Free the Captives’ first major fundraising event, is to expand their summer job program for trafficked teens to be year-round, to open Houston’s first drop in center for trafficked victims and to purchase a production facility for the job program which will help underwrite the programs on an ongoing basis. A permanent production facility is the first step in the multi-year plan of becoming fully self sustaining.
