Frame Dance Productions presents "Dinner / Dance 19"

eventdetail

This live performance and dinner is in collaboration with chef David Leftwich, executive director of Sugar & Rice magazine, and composer Robert Honstein, winner of the 2014 Frame Dance Music Composition Competition.

"Dinner / Dance 19" will examine people's relationship with food through the study of movement and dance in the growing, preparation, service and consumption of food. To prepare, Frame dancers worked at Plant It Forward Farms to learn the movements of growing and harvesting food. They also worked with Leftwich in the kitchen, studying food preparation, the movements of food service and eating a meal.

The evening also features music by Matthew Peterson and Jonathan Russell. The event is BYOB.
