This year's "Music for Peace" is part of the Year of the Woman, an artistic and social initiative celebrating women's accomplishments at the same time creating consciousness on issues that affect them such as violence, human/sex trafficking and others.

The concert features musicians of the Avalon Ensemble, Greenbriar Consortium and Solero Flamenco, including Irma "La Paloma" (cante), Chris Howard (cajon), Paul Boyd (piano), Raúl Orlando Edwards (baritone), Anne Leek (oboe), Jorge Orta (percussion), Dan Strba (viola), Marcia Sterling (violin) and others. Music selections from different genres will celebrate the subject of peace, women and the need for improvement in these areas.
