This concert features Italian virtuoso saxophonist Mario Ciaccio and pianist Simone Miotto in an evening of contemporary music. A reception will follow where guests can mingle with the composers and guest artists.

On the program are works by Houston composers Arthur Gottschalk and Richard Lavenda, compositions by Alfred Desencols and Astor Piazzolla as well as a collection of favorite Italian songs performed by Raul Orlando Edwards, baritone and Paul Boyd, piano.

This performance is presented in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, University of St. Thomas and the Italian Cultural and Community Center.
