The search for peace takes on many forms. A few brave souls protest individually at great risk to themselves for the end of war, oppression, hate and injustice. When voices join they gather strength and become powerful enough to change the course of history. Great art has served as a cry for help or simply of anguish when peace seems unattainable. Others have no choice but to seek peace through a more personal approach. Prayer, meditation and reflection — these internal safe havens may be the only possible ones left for many even today.
