Families can gather to enjoy food, music, and photography and writing workshops at FotoFun: Family and Youth Day. The festival day provides learning fun for youth and families through photography, film, creative writing, and songwriting workshops. Special guided tours will be available for the Biennial 2022 exhibition "If I Had a Hammer."

This event is organized by the FotoFest Learning Program, which has served thousands of students in the Greater Houston area in schools and community centers for more than thirty years with its photography-based art and writing projects. Our Literacy Through Photography curriculum and thoughtfully designed education projects, tours, and community events strengthen literacy and encourage agency. In conjunction with the FotoFest Biennial 2022, the Learning Program will host a variety of programs specific to youth, families, educators, and art community audiences.
