In celebration of the FotoFest Biennial 2022 exhibition, "Ten by Ten: Ten Reviewers Select Ten Portfolios" from the Meeting Place 2020–21 will feature the artists, curators, and reviewers behind the exhibition while enjoying light bites and refreshments, while also viewing artworks by artists whose portfolios exemplify a broad range of contemporary photographic practices.
The reception will feature remarks by Steven Evans, Annick Dekiouk, and Max Fields with artists featured in the exhibition. At 6 pm, artist Zana Briski will join Johan Sjöström for an in-gallery discussion about Briski’s Animalograms series, and at 7 pm, artists Hillerbrand+Magsamen will present a performance in conjunction with their work 147 Devices for Integrated Principles.
