Acclaimed actress, activist and humanitarian Ashley Judd will visit Houston for An Evening with Ashley Judd, benefiting Fort Bend Women’s Center, which is marking its 35th year of bringing healing and hope to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Judd’s cinematic credits include Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, De-Lovely, Divergent, Double Jeopardy and the soon to be released Big Stone Gap.

While many people will know Judd’s diverse film and television roles, this event will also give the audience a chance to learn more about her commitment to telling the stories of those who cannot speak for themselves. An accomplished speaker and Harvard graduate, Judd has addressed several international public health conferences and has given evidence on modern slavery to the United Nations General Assembly.
