Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra's season closer features Gershwin's beloved An American in Paris, which captures the sounds and atmosphere experienced by an American visitor strolling the streets of Paris. Concertgoers will also enjoy Copland's famous Fanfare for the Common Man, a short moving piece designed to stir the patriotic spirit of Americans during World War II. In addition, Houston pianist Rodolfo Morales will perform Robert Nelson's Concertino for Piano and Orchestra, only the second time this work has been performed in the United States.
