The Flamenco Poets Society celebrates Hispanic Cultural Month by featuring the works of Mexican poet Homero Aridjis, one of Mexico's greatest contemporary poets who also devoted his life to environmental causes and journalism. Aridjis was Mexico's ambassador to UNESCO, where he was a strong defender of human rights, freedom of expression and cultural diversity.

The program consists of a bilingual reading in Spanish and English by Lorena B. Fernandez and Julietta Parra Ducote.
