Flamenco Poets Society presents "Gabriel García Márquez: Short Stories"

The Flamenco Poets Society presents an afternoon of short stories by Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez. Affectionately known as "Gabo" to millions of readers, García Márquez first earned international fame with his masterpiece One Hundred Years of Solitude, a defining classic of 20th century literature that was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1985.

The society's guest artist, Jere Pfister, will be reading stories from Big Mama's Funeral. Ben Lind, the society's artist in residence, will read from Eyes of a Blue Dog.
