The Flamenco Poets Society and Lucia & Valdemar Flamenco present an afternoon of music and poetry. Sharing the spotlight will be guest artists, cellist Brinton Averil Smith and pianist Evelyn Chen. They will interpret the music of Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. Ben Lind will read poetry by Federico Garcia Lorca.
The program includes Manuel de Falla's Canciones Populares Españolas, El Amor Brujo and Lorca's poetry of Deep Song/Poema del Cante Jondo.
