First Thursdays at Holocaust Museum Houston and Lecture: "The Strange Demise of Jim Crow”

This free lecture titled "The Strange Demise of Jim Crow," with commentary by professor Thomas Cole, focuses on the segregation laws enacted between 1876 and 1965. Cole is the founding director of the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

As with all First Thursdays At Holocaust Museum Houston events, the museum will remain open until 8 p.m. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m.
