First Methodist Houston will welcome famed author, speaker, lawyer, and diplomat Bob Goff.

Goff is the New York Times best-selling author of Love Does and Everybody Always. He is the founder of Love Does, a nonprofit human rights organization designed to fight for freedom and human rights, working to improve educational opportunities and to be helpful to those in need of a voice and a friend. He also founded the Restore Leadership Academy in Northern Uganda, which educates over 300 students with a focus on character and leadership development. Because of Goff's vision and the work of Love Does, he serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Uganda to the United States.
