This family friendly event will celebrate the SLAB, a vehicle art form that originated in local African-American neighborhoods. The parade will feature 50 Houston-area SLAB vehicles as well as customized bicycles crafted by youth participants working with Workshop Houston. MacGregor Park will be the site of a mini-festival with activities and creative stations for the whole family.

The festival stage will feature live music, dance and spoken word performances, as well as demonstrations by street artists and car customizers, and displays of hip hop fashion. The grounds will also feature an informal car show that will allow spectators to examine the cars up close and interact directly with SLAB owners and artists.
