The event will feature live entertainment throughout the day, carnival-themed activities and an array of food and beverage choices. Entertainment will be provided by Celtic-rock band the Blaggards, cover band the Mockingbirds and Houston's own DJ Bizonee. Adding a little Irish to the evening will be bag pipe-player Barun Das.

Activities include a football toss contest, dunking booth, corn hole/washer and more plus a two-round swimsuit contest with 10 bikini-clad contestants, with the grand prize winner advancing to the next round of contests in Mexico, and cash prizes for the first, second and third place winners. Wrecking Crew BBQ as well food trucks will provide gourmet fare.

Tickets include two free drink tickets. Doors open at noon; the throwdown will continue until 8 p.m.
