In a nod to the biblical and historical meaning of debt forgiveness, property being returned and the such, all of the beers at D&T Drive Inn's Friends Board (which are paid for but still unclaimed) are being given out for free on a first-come, first-serve basis. The revelry begins at 1 p.m., alongside offerings of traditional New Year's Day food plus a live DJ set by Clint Broussard of Blues in Hifi on KPFT.
