Nonsuch Projects, in collaboration with 14 Pews, presents an evening of films by Bill Ferris that features writer Eudora Welty; quilt maker Pecolia Warner; needlework artist Ethel Mohamed; painters Theora Hamblet, Maude Gatewood and Rebecca Davenport; and gospel songwriter, singer and faith healer Fannie Bell Chapman. Ferris will discuss the films and answer questions via video chat.
Films screened include Four Women Artists, Painting in the South and Fannie Bell Chapman: Gospel Singer.
