Hey Bartender tells the story of the renaissance of the bartender in the era of the craft cocktail. The documentary focuses on two bartenders trying to achieve their dreams: An injured Marine with a goal to become a rock star bartender and a former bank executive who bought the corner bar in his hometown. The latter struggles to keep his investment afloat in a community that no longer values "a place where everyone knows your name."

The film features famous bartenders and footage of exclusive bars in New York City, alongside commentary from Graydon Carter, Danny Meyer and Amy Sacco.

After the screening, local bartenders of repute — Justin T. Burrow, Linda Salinas, Ornella Ashcraft and Alexander Gregg — will mix-up their favorite drinks for guests to sample.
