The Elephant in the Living Room is a documentary film about the raising of exotic pets in homes around the United States and the controversy surrounding the issue. The screening, presented by the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund Chapter of the University of Houston Law Center, will be introduced by Katie Jarl, Texas State director of the Humane Society of the United States.
Proceeds will support the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund Chapter of University of Houston Law Center and Outreach for Animals, a group of police officers, firefighters and paramedics dedicated to educating young people to respect wildlife and its natural habitat.
