Film screening benefiting Human-Rights Education and Relief Organization: What Matters?

eventdetail

What Matters? is a beautiful film that educates and motivates the community about an issue of global significance — extreme poverty. The documentary focuses on three friends from Saint Louis — two idealistic activists and one skeptic — who attempt to live on $1.25 a day, the world's standard for extreme poverty, as they journey across three continents. Their adventure takes an unexpected turn when two of them survive a deadly plane crash in Africa and all three must fight to finish what they started.

Proceeds will benefit Human-Rights Education and Relief Organization better known as HERO, a nonprofit that promotes human dignity in all stages of life through international education and relief programs.
