Hermann Park Conservancy, in collaboration with Rice Public Art and with support from Weingarten Art Group and Judy Nyquist, will present the film Bending Sticks: The Sculpture of Patrick Dougherty.

The screening will coincide with the artist's installation of a monumental, site-specific work in Hermann Park as part of the Centennial Art Project, Art in the Park. Immediately following the 54-minute film, Dougherty will participate in a question-and-answer session.

The event is held in the Rice University BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC) Auditorium, 6500 Main St., first floor.
