John H. Lienhard is the author and voice of The Engines of Our Ingenuity and professor emeritus of mechanical engineering and history at the University of Houston. He will discuss the movie The Burmese Harp, its music and its representation of war. After the talk guests will watch the award-winning film, directed by Kon Ichikawa.
