Houston author and film historian Frank Dello Stritto will read from his new book, I Saw What I Saw When I Saw It, together with a screening of the classic comedy Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, a film in which two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man.
Subtitled Growing Up in the 1950s and 1960s with Television Reruns and Old Movies, Stritto's book is a memoir of a post-World War II baby boomer learning about the world through watching television and going to Saturday matinees.
